These are the rambles of a photographer and walker, who happily combines the two hobbies in retirement from a more demanding occupation. I regard myself as an instinctive rather than technical photographer. I photograph what pleases, but can't resist perspective and stormy weather.

Crop lines
On an August walk with White Cliffs Ramblers from Petham, I came across this geometrically satisfying layout of a field of cereal, and found the result pleasing.
Retired after 42 years in country legal practice. Ancestral connections with Northumberland. Photographer since teens, and retirement enables me to enjoy much walking and photography.
