These are the rambles of a photographer and walker, who happily combines the two hobbies in retirement from a more demanding occupation. I regard myself as an instinctive rather than technical photographer. I photograph what pleases, but can't resist perspective and stormy weather.
We saw this from a distance at Deal beach, and watched it circle a buoy, then pick it up. Curiosity and a 300mm lens took over, and a google search revealed it to be a Trinity House buoy tender out of Harwich.
Retired after 42 years in country legal practice. Ancestral connections with Northumberland. Photographer since teens, and retirement enables me to enjoy much walking and photography.
